Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility For MBA / MBA (I&E)

  • Graduate from any statutory / recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)

Eligibility For MBA Executive

  • Bachelors degree from any statutory/recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks
  • Minimum of three year work experience, as on 31st May of that year, after graduation.


Eligibility For PGD

  • A Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks from any statutory University

Eligibility For PGDFB

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks from any statutory University.
  • Direct involvement in one’s family business
  • Relevant business experience of at least 2 years

Admission Procedure

    • For MBA / MBA (I&E) 
      1. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their SNAP scores.
      2. The shortlisted candidates are then called for stage-II which comprises of Group Exercise, WAT and Personal Exercise (GE-PIWAT).
      3. For MBA (I&E), stage-II comprises of a round of personal interview (PI) only.

    • For MBA Executive
      1. Candidates are required to appear for a written test. The test consists of 50 questions on various topics of General Awareness. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.
      2. The test will be followed by a personal interview

    1. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of applications.
    2. Shortlisted candidates will appear for a round of personal interview at SIBM Pune.

SIBM Eligibility and Selection Criteria for MBA

Symbiosis International University conducts it own exam,Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test,for admissions to all the MBA courses at various colleges in the university. The exam is conducted in the month of December on a Sunday. The SNAP exam has a total of 180 questions. A correct answer fetches 3 marks and -1 for each incorrect answer. The pattern of the exam has been tabulated below.

Generally, the cutoff for a call from SIBM Pune is at around 95-97%ile for the General category candidates. The intake of the various programs at SIBM Pune has been tabulated above.
